 Classes for ages 16 and up, materials fee is $30 per bag of clay, class minimum 4/maximum 10. Please bring a hand towel and light weight plastic (like a white kitchen garbage bag) to cover your work.

Students will be able to use the studio more hours for make up sessions beginning in the fall. Make-up sessions/open studio times are for currently enrolled students.  No instruction during open studio hours. Priority is given to students who missed a class.

Menucha Creative Arts Camp, August 2018, Sculpting Expressive Animals

Residential Workshops

Join Deb at Menucha Creative Arts Community in Oregon for her week long workshop  - Sculpting Story Boats.  This amazing art camp for adults is on the Columbia Gorge and will run from August 4 to 10, 2019. Registration will open April 1, 2019.  SESSION SOLD OUT as of April 2, 2019.

Private instruction and tutorials are available, $75 per hour
Practice and improve specific areas and techniques through our private tutorial program. Work on wheel techniques, sculpting skills or surface resolutions during your private one-on-one session. Tutorials are one hour minimum and are scheduled afternoons or evenings depending on individual needs. Sessions must be paid for in advance. No cancellation refunds less than 3 days prior to scheduled session.

Class, Cancellation & Refund Policy
Withdrawals and refunds – If Baker Creek Ceramics cancels a class students will receive a full refund. Students who withdraw two weeks or more prior to the first day of class will receive a full refund less a $25.00 processing fee. Students who withdraw fewer than two weeks prior to a class will not receive a refund.
Missed Classes – There are no discounts, refunds or make up instruction sessions for missed classes. In the fall and winter, there are usually some open studio hours available for students who miss a class, but there is no instruction available in these sessions.  Check your specific class syllabus to see if any make-up hours are available.
Class Cancellation – All classes not meeting the minimum enrollment of 4 students one week prior to the start date may be cancelled.  Baker Creek Ceramics will contact students in affected class and offer refunds or placement in an additional class.
Disruptive Behavior - Baker Creek has the right to remove a student from a class if the student's behavior is offensive or disruptive to the class.
Enrolled Students Only - Class instruction is for students enrolled in the class ONLY, no guests.
Final Fired Ceramic Work - Your pieces will be fired within two weeks of your final glazing class session. Students will receive a list of pick up dates and times. Any student work left more than 60 days will be donated to the Dead Pot Society.
